Clear a 9 × 9 field hiding 10 mines using nothing but logic. Your first click is always safe, and the game works with a mouse or on a touch screen using Flag mode.
Click to reveal a square, right-click (or use Flag mode) to flag a mine. Numbers show how many mines touch that square.
How to play
- Click a square to reveal it. Your first click never hits a mine.
- A number tells you how many mines touch that square, including diagonals.
- Right-click a square — or switch on Flag mode and tap — to mark a mine.
- Reveal every square that isn’t a mine to win. Hit a mine and the game is over.
Tips to score higher
- Start with the corners and edges of the revealed area — numbers there are easiest to read.
- A 1 next to just one hidden square means that square is a mine.
- Flag mines as you find them so you can count what is left around each number.
This game is free to play on desktop, tablet and phone. It runs entirely in your browser, so once the page has loaded you can keep playing even if your connection drops.
